White Paper Template

In an effort to offer some guidance and direction on how to structure your Round Three five (5) page white-paper, below is an outline of topics we feel must be addressed.

  • What are you trying to do? Articulate your objectives using as little jargon as possible.

  • How is it done today and what are the limitations of current practice?

  • What is new in your approach and why do you think it will succeed?

  • How does this address a NASA need? If it is successful, what difference will it make? Who is the POC or Champion for this need?

  • What are the risks?

  • What could be reasonably accomplished in 2 years if $500K were available each year?

  • What are the metrics to check for success in this technology?

  • What are the mid-term and final "exams" to check for success?
